FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire.

Our cocktail attire thoughts: think standard wedding attire. For women, perhaps a fun, festive dress, jumpsuit, etc. It can be whatever length you would like. We just didn’t want any women to think they had a buy a formal gown. For men, a suit. Tie or no tie. No tuxedos.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please contact us ASAP so we can inform the Wythe.

Where are you registered?

We are not registered anywhere, and do not need or request any gifts. We are just thrilled that you are coming to Brooklyn in January.

Getting to NYC

JFK International Airport and LaGuardia Airport are both good options for flying to the area and offer easy public transit and taxi/rideshare options.

Newark Liberty International Airport also offers flights. If you are staying in Brooklyn, please expect somewhat longer travel times and higher fares from Newark than from JFK or LaGuardia.

If you're coming from somewhere in the Northeast, Amtrak to Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station is a great option to consider.

Getting Around

The Wythe Hotel is located a 9 minute walk from the L train (Bedford Av) and 10 minutes from the G train (Nassau Av).

You can now pay for the NYC Subway and AirTrain at the turnstile without needing to buy a MetroCard. Learn more at omny.info. If using an Apple device, you probably want to set up Express Mode so you don't need to unlock your phone.

Parking

The Wythe Hotel does not have parking. There are a few paid parking garages nearby.

Street parking nearby is free if you can find a spot. Please allow plenty of extra time if you choose this option, and have a backup plan in case you cannot find a street spot.

Is anything else planned for the weekend?

Friday: We are in the process of finding a venue for a very casual meetup on Friday night for anyone that happens to be in town and available. The current thinking is Spritzenhaus in Williamsburg at 8pm, we will follow up to confirm.

Sunday post-wedding: We are looking into finding a bar close to the venue that people can meet up at after the venue kicks us out at 10p.

Are you changing your name to Watsakovsky?

Highly unlikely, but if you have strong feelings, please vote here.
